Privacy Policy
A-ONE CBR REMOVALIST (“we”, “us”) provides house moving, office moving, packaging and cleaning in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane, and on interstate routes we agree with you. This policy explains how we handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
It covers information collected through this website, by phone, by email, and while we carry out a booked service.

Collection of personal information
We collect personal information that is reasonably necessary to quote, book and carry out a move or a clean. We collect it directly from you when you submit a quote form, call us, email us, or speak with a crew member on site.
Information we ask for
- Your name
- Phone number and email address
- Pickup and delivery addresses, including unit numbers, access notes and parking instructions
- The move date and the service you request: house moving, office moving, packaging or cleaning
- Inventory details, including fragile, heavy or high-value items you tell us about
- Building access information such as stairs, lift bookings and loading zones
- Details needed to issue or receipt an invoice. Please do not send a full card number by email
If you book for someone else, give us their details only if you are allowed to. If you do not provide the information we need to plan the load and the access, we may not be able to give you a fixed quote or complete the booking.
Use of information
We use personal information only for purposes connected with the services you ask us for.
- Preparing a moving, packaging or cleaning quote
- Scheduling crews and vehicles and carrying out the booked job
- Issuing invoices and confirming payment
- Answering questions and handling a complaint or a claim about the job
- Keeping records required for tax and ordinary business administration
We do not add you to an unrelated marketing list. A message about your own booking, such as a confirmed date or an arrival window, is part of providing the service.
Data storage and security
We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, interference, loss, and unauthorised access, modification or disclosure. Access is limited to people who need the details for your job. Electronic records are kept in password-protected systems, and job sheets are not left in a vehicle after the move is finished.
We keep quote and job records only for as long as we need them to finish the service, deal with a later query, and meet our record-keeping obligations. When the information is no longer required, we delete it or de-identify it where it is reasonable to do so.
No method of storage removes every risk. If we become aware that your information has been lost or accessed without authority, and serious harm is likely, we will tell you and the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner where the Privacy Act requires that notice.
Disclosure to third parties
We do not sell personal information. We share it only where that is needed to deliver the service you booked, or where the law requires the disclosure.
- Removalists, packers or cleaners we engage who are working on your job
- A building manager or site contact, where you have asked us to arrange access
- Our insurer or a professional adviser, if there is a claim about loss or damage
- A payment provider that processes an invoice you choose to pay
- A regulator, court or law-enforcement body, if we are legally required to disclose the information
A crew member or subcontractor receives only the details they need for that job, and only so they can carry it out. They are not authorised to use your information for their own purposes.
Access and correction
You may ask for access to the personal information we hold about you, and you may ask us to correct it if it is inaccurate, out of date, incomplete, irrelevant or misleading. Please call 0435 249 398 or email us, and include the booking name and the pickup suburb so we can find the record.
We will respond within a reasonable period. If we refuse a request, we will explain why, unless the law stops us from doing so, and we will tell you how to complain.
